It’s Super Bowl weekend and that means all Bears fans start thinking about the ’85 Bears! Yes, people, we still live in the past, daydreaming about the 46 defense, Walter, McMahon, Speedy Willie, mustached Matt Suhey, and yes, even Steve Fuller. We occasionally frequently break out into spontaneous renditions of the Super Bowl Shuffle when we’re alone in the car. We really do believe the Bears didn’t come “lookin’ for trouble.” We smile from ear to ear whenever we see an old clip of the Refrigerator Perry falling on top of someone/anyone! Ditka could end up being a mass murderer and we would still kinda believe that he can do no wrong. We believe that it is a crying shame that Richard Dent is not yet in the Hall of Fame! And, most of all, we refuse to believe that any team, especially any defense, can measure up to the ’85 Bears. So who cares who wins the SuperBowl this year?!
