I’m the Director at Skokie Public Library, an award-winning library located just north of Chicago.

In 2006, I received my MSI (Masters of Science in Information) from the University of Michigan School of Information while gaining valuable experience at Ann Arbor District Library and the Hatcher Graduate Library. Before my current position, I worked as an adult services librarian at Thousand Oaks Library, the Adult Programming and Technology Coordinator at Skokie Public Library, the Digital Services Manager at Arlington Heights Memorial Library, and the Deputy Director back at Skokie Public Library. I participated in the first ALA Emerging Leaders class in 2007, Synergy (Illinois Library Leadership Initiative) in 2008, and the PLA Leadership Academy in 2015. I was also named one of Library Journal’s Movers & Shakers in 2012.
